The Travel Experts
African Dhamma Travels is run by Madelen and Minna, who met in Cape Town just over 15 years ago.
Today, Minna is based in Europe where she handles much of the administrative work from her office in Sweden.
In Cape Town, her reliable colleague and long-time business partner, Madelen, takes care of everything on-site.
Together, Minna and Madelen combine their passion for Travel and many years of experience in South Africa to ensure that every detail runs smoothly, both behind the scenes and on the ground.
Our primary focus has always been South Africa, but we also love destinations such as Vic Falls, Mozambique, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, and are happy to put together your dream holiday to any of these places as well.
Minna Nilivaara
Based in Europe
Minna first moved to South Africa in 2007, while working as a Tour Manager/ guide in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Her work brought her to so many different places and a few years later, those experiences and the knowledge she had gained about the region as a whole, gave her the idea to start up her own Travel business together with her trusted business partner: Madelen.
Now based in Europe, Minna is focusing more on promoting Africa and the region she loves so much…Hoping that more travellers will get “bitten by The Africa bug”.
Madelen Johansson
Based in Cape Town- South Africa
Madelen moved to South Africa in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the country.
With a background in tourism & travel and a strong connection to Cape Town, she works on-site to ensure that each trip is as magical and unforgettable as our clients hope for.
Being based in Cape Town, she also has the advantage of really knowing which restaurants to visit and new activities on offer and always keeps her eyes out for new Hotels and accommodations opening up.
